A Charming English Garden Rose

A very prolific and charming bloomer, English Rose 'Queen of Sweden' features exceptionally pretty clusters of fully double blossoms of the softest glowing apricot-pink, later maturing to pure soft pink.

This rose was named to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship and Commerce between Queen Christina of Sweden and Oliver Cromwell of Great Britain in 1654.

Queen of Sweden (Austiger) has a lovely myrrh fragrance and is ideal for both rose borders and combining with other plants in mixed borders. Most varieties will perform surprisingly well in partial shade with at least four or five hours of good sun a day.
