'To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.' Audrey Hepburn.

There are many ways to share your gardening skills and plants.

Share cuttings and seedlings.

If you’ve recently done some pruning or planted out some seedlings and don’t want to waste them, offer them to others. I've recently been very kindly been given some ox-eye daisies for the cottage wildflower garden, that were surplus to requirements.

Trade plants or share skills.

If you have some extra plants but have been looking for that special one that’s hard to find, maybe you can locate it by trading plants.

Get involved with your local community garden.

You’ll meet like-minded people that may become close gardening friends. Contribute your skills for the combined goal of growing and expanding your gardening circle.

Spending time outside in nature is good for you. There are many benefits to being outside in the garden.

Gardening can build self-esteem.

Gardening is good for your heart.

Gardening reduces stress.

Gardening can boost your mood.

Gardening can improve your body strength.

Gardening is good for the whole family and provides a source of community.

Growing your own food can help you eat more healthily.

Perhaps you dont have access to a garden? Have you considered an allotment?
