Harmonious Homely Colour Combinations.

Your home is a constantly evolving mix of all the things you love. At Studioamano we understand the science and emotion of colour and we love to celebrate it in the creation of vivid modern interiors.

We love to mix cosiness and luxury with unique elements of the clients own personality, ensuring their homes are somewhere they feel both relaxed and peaceful and that reflect their lifestyle.

2020/21 means that we have all spent more time at home. The tides have certainly turned since the subdued neutral living spaces that were once desired. We are reclaiming colour and expression and working to demonstrate that bright doesn’t have to mean busy or overblown.

Colour theory is both the science and art of using color. Choosing appropriate colors for a space is an important aspect of interior design. When lightness and saturation are modified all colours change their character, As well as picking a colour for a certain interior design element it's also important to pick a shade. Studies have shown that some colours can spark an emotional response – yellow is uplifting and cheering while blue is calming, for example.

Lighter colours are airy and, as a general rule, they make rooms feel larger and brighter. Darker colours are sophisticated and warm and they make rooms feel intimate.

Paint sheen also affects colour. Glossy finishes will reflect light and change the way the colour looks, whereas flat finishes are less reflective and allow colors to look truer under bright light.

At Studioamano we understand the science and emotion of colour and we love to celebrate it in the creation of vivid modern interiors.

We create joyful spaces that are also sophisticated, elegant, and timeless.

Creating homes that are elegantly habitable, that give back and speak of the people and setting that they belong to.

Creating public spaces that tell a story and inspire us to commune with others who encounter and experience them.
