We love this beautiful Victorian 1830's Walnut Washstand in the bedroom at Dove Cottage, Harberton, Totnes.

It has a maroon veined marble top and on the upstand it has beautiful green glazed ceramic tiles, with decorative tiles either side of an Art Nouveau style.

It even smells gorgeous, as it has a woody scent inside the cupboard.

Beside it, in the dressing area of the bedroom is a contemporary chair, styled on the classic Eames DAW side chair designed in 1950.

This contemporary version of the legendary chair is both stylish and comfortable and is available in a range of beautiful colours.

We love the look and versatility of this chair so much that we used it in the dining area downstairs too.

Accessorised with a natural sheepskin, it becomes a cosy lounge dining chair.
