Studioamano celebrates Devon in a series of journal posts

Salcombe - Starehole Bay

The South Devon coast is varied with its dramatic cliffs, rocky coastlines and hidden coves.

The best way to explore the South Devon coast is on foot via the South West Coast Path.

The South West Coast Path

This is England’s longest way-marked footpath and runs for 630 miles from Minehead, Somerset to Poole Harbour, Dorset. The South Devon stretch, around 125 miles, takes in many of the main towns in the region.

The South Devon Coast is home to some wonderful beaches.

There's a South Devon beach for every occasion in the South Hams. Crystal clear waters, large sandy beaches and beautiful secluded coves. Many of the beaches in South Devon have awards for water and beach quality.
